Today, depression has become a disease, and there are millions of patients all over the world. In India alone, it has more than 7 crore patients. However, most of them have not been identified. One in every 17 people in India is a victim of depression. Till now it has not been taken seriously and due to this millions of people are losing their lives every year, whether it is farmer's suicide or a Bollywood star's all this is due to depression.


What is Depression?

Depression is a mental condition in which a person loses in one thought, often he/she takes care of a problem in his life. Even that person does not want to emerge from that thought and considers herself/ himself responsible for that situation. 
We can easily find out if someone around us is not in a depression, for this we need to know the symptoms of depression.

To detect depression, you can resort to its systems. Symptoms of depression can be different, some of which are as follows.
  1. If a person starts speaking less, then it can also be a symptom of depression.
  2. Eat too much or too little.
  3. Get lost in one's thoughts.
  4. Prefer to be alone and avoid meeting someone.
  5. If a person has decreased his self-esteem.
  6. Loss of interests, feeling down.
  7. Drinking, thoughts of suicide.
  8. Headache, digestive problems. 
However, if a person has these symptoms then you can say he might be suffering from depression. 

What are the reasons that can lead to depression


There can be many reasons due to which a person may have depression. It can be due to some economic problem, a broken relationship, worried about something, tortured by someone. Consumption of drugs, a medical condition like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
However, it is very difficult that we can tell the exact cause of someone's depression because the person who has depression refrains from talking about that subject directly.
Depression is often aggravated when the person has no one to grieve his grief. In the event of depression, all the responsibility comes to his relatives. He should talk to him. 


How someone can overcome depression

If any of your acquaintances are in depression, then all the responsibility falls on you. To get out of this situation, you will have to talk to that person and make him think of something else.
You can do all this to remove her stress.

1. Consult with a doctor if necessary.
Consulting a doctor can be the best choice for you because an expert in depression can help you a lot in overcoming depression. However, even doctors can take time to cure you.  

2. Try to involve the individual in sports so that he can be free from his stress. 
If you or any individual has the depression then try to involve him/her into the sports. Sports are known for stress-busting, they can make you feel normal even in stress. 

3. Yoga and Asana can be the best way to reduce depression. 
Yoga and Asana may help you in reducing depression, as they allow you to see the world in different ways. Yoga and Asanas can clean up your mind and body and can put you away from stress and depression.

3. Visiting a new destination or visiting a destination that he/she loves.
Visiting a new destination can help a lot in overcoming depression because while visiting a new place you can force your mind to think differently. however, in major cases, this doesn't work.

4. Tell him to take long breaths when he feels stress.
It is not possible to cure depression suddenly, you have to fight from your depression. To fight depression you can use simple tricks to reduce your stress.
